Much Needed Romantic Getaway

This was the first time I was EVER away from Camila for more than like 6 hours & although it was so scary/nerve wrecking/mix of emotions, it was SUCH a good idea. We NEEDED that! We haven't had a vacation just us 2 since our honeymoon, which is almost 2 years ago (plus I was preggo & so we couldn't exactly do everything we wanted to do lol). We've always wanted to go to the Poconos and decided what better time than now! The fact that we got to take a few days just us in such a romantic setting & disconnecting from the world meant the WORLD to us. The resort we went to was so fun & definitely reminded us of something from a movie. There was so much to do, but some of our faves were obviously hanging by the fire place with some refreshments, relaxing in the jacuzzi, mini golf, ice skating, comedy & magic show, sight-seeing & yummy food. We are so thankful to grandma & our family who stayed with Camila & to God for always providing & bringing joy into our lives.

Now here's a little recap of our romantic getaway...

We had the BEST time and miss it already. We're definitely going to try and make it a yearly tradition to get away just us two, it is SO WORTH IT! Camila has been non-stop dancing, will only fall asleep on top of us & won't let us out of her sight ever since we got home. Let's just say she missed us A LOT, but had the best time with grandma.

Wishing everyone a happy rest of the week!

P.S.
Still going strong on my 21 day challenge! Check out my last post if you're not sure what I'm talking about.
