The beginning of the school year has hit me pretty hard with TONS of schoolwork & not enough time in the day. I never realized that being in school while juggling baby, hubby, blog & home would be very different than when I was 21, no baby & barely had a care in the world (although I always managed to get straight A's).  I'm definitely in a school daze that has me working really hard to stay organized & on top of things. With Camila also being in "school" I really am feeling the whole "back to school" vibes (even though she only goes once or twice a week). The days Mila goes to school are actually my busiest days because I try to cram in so much homework, studying, reading, laundry, cleaning, meal prep, etc. I am trying my best to stay organized & the best and only way I know how to do that is by planning out my week in my planner and then everyday writing a "to-do-list" of what has to get done & in what order. I must say that the days Camila is in school I miss her sooooo bad, but at the same time it is CRAZY how much you can get done when their is not a little person following your every move. When Camila is at school you can usually find me in here...

Our little comfy, cozy office

& This is what I usually look like on "school days", which is every day for me...aka "hot mess" lol!

"Pray, Coffee, Repeat" all day long! This tee is from BeStillClothing & they are just about to have a summer blow-out sale starting Monday, yay!

Here's my little princess so far every day before school...

Hi my loves & Happy Long Weekend!

We have a full day planned for Labor Day & that includes crossing 2 things off our Summer Bucket List. Yankees Game, BBQ & even Beer Pong Tournament are all on the agenda. Of course I am so excited for Camila's first, real sporting event & I am even more excited for her adorable outfit. We plan to have some matching pieces in our outfits & I can't wait to take tons of pictures and share them with all of you. Labor Day is always so much fun & marks the "official" end to summer. Back home in Florida Summer never really ends, but here in NY it already seems to be far off in the distance with temps falling into the 60's. We plan to take full advantage of our last hoorah for summer & prepare ourselves for the beautiful Fall closely approaching. Labor Day BBQ calls for some delicious Pinterest inspired recipes like this amazing guacamole recipe  & this white wine sangria !  To top it all off some of hubby's best friends, their girlies & some of our family are all participating in a beer pong tournament (fingers crossed Mila will nap after the game so mama can have some game time too)! Can't wait to feel like I'm back in college....but wait I am? Things are so different with a babe!

Mila's OOTD for her very first Yankee Game

matching family kicks

I hope you all have a fabulous & safe Labor Day. Remember that hard work always pays off & those who work hard get to play hard!

Only for tomorrow haha

Hey loves, lets be honest...sometimes as a mommy I just want to run out the door with nothing on my face, mom bun up, looking like a hot mess but then I remember I always end up regretting that because when I happen to see myself in the mirror I don't even recognize myself. Even though I'm a mommy I still pride myself in being a young, fashionable and sexy young lady (even if I don't always feel that way) so I do not want my outer appearance to speak otherwise because then I tend to believe it. I've also noticed that putting on a little make-up & feeling pretty early in the day is a recipe for success.  As a mom it is so important to have quick & easy time saving trips when it comes to beauty and this summer that has proved to be especially true because plans have usually been made last minute (were trying to take the easy going summer approach) & we've been traveling a lot. I always want a nice, clean, tan & glowy look on hot summer days & it needs to take no more than 5-10 mins max to put together. It always helps to have the essentials already in my make-up bag ready to go. So my must have items for my summer beauty bag are:
1. Dry Shampoo
2. Thermal Spring Water Facial Spray
3.Bronzer
4.Highlighter
5.Waterproof Mascara & Eyeliner
6. Lipgloss
7. Bright Nail Polish
Here are the products that are in my beauty bag & that I totally recommend for all my on the go mommies or really any of my girls who are always running short on time like me hehe.
P.S. I love to mix high-end with drug store and usually more drug store than anything, beauty on a budget is my motto :)

1.Dry Shampoo is a must for my oily hair! This is my favorite brand & I always find it for $3.99 at TJ MAXX

2. Thermal Spring or Mineral Water Spray is a life saver for the hot and
sticky days, I like to apply before my make-up & even after when I'm feeling hot and sweaty

Feels so refreshing & leaves skin glowing I got this one in my IPSY bag a few months ago and am obsessed I also love the Evian Facial Spray

3. Bronzer is key in the summer & for some reason my face is NEVER as tan as my body so I always need a little help

I usually go for my Bare Minerals Warmth or ELF bronzers, but just received this new Pacifica Sunkissed in my IPSY & I'm in love

4 Highlighter is probably my fave summer product because I just want to look like I'm literally glowing at all times

I love combining all 3 powders & the liquid for max glow

5. Always need mascara & eyeliner but opt for waterproof in the summer

Love these & perfectly compact for the make-up bag

6. Lipgloss because my lips must be shiny & sultry

My fave glosses are from Sephora, Victorias Secret & Lancome  & hands down best moisturizer for lippies believe it or not is Lanolin nipple cream (I know sounds gross, but I promise if you try it you will not regret it)

7. Bright Nail Polish is so much fun in the summer especially since I tend to opt for neutrals on a regular basis. I love keeping my current color in my make-up bag just incase of chips & touch-ups

"Blanc" & "Fifth Avenue" are my go-to's for summer & of course ESSIE is always my fave & there you have it...my simple, fast & easy faves for a mommy summer look on the go! Mommy Summer Look Hope this gave you some inspiration to flaunt your beautiful selves for these last few weeks of summer! Happy Hump Day! xoxo Arianna

Ready for Fun In The Sun

It's officially SUMMER and we were lucky enough to start enjoying the warm weather early because we were in Florida, but now that were back home in New York it is HOT & we couldn't be happier! Adjusting to the heat & water fun was easy for my little fishy who just LOVES the water & I have no complaints because really what could be cuter than a little baby bootie in a bikini (heart melts).  I love having a go-to list for special activities so I know I am not missing anything when I'm walking out the door, so I've created a "must have" list of the things we just can't survive without when we're heading to the splash pad, pool, beach or almost any fun in the sun.

1. Sunscreen

These are our faves & we try to re-apply every 2 hours or even more if she's getting in the water

2. Water/Sun Hat

These are so cute & help protect baby's precious little skin Pink is from Babies R Us & white is from H&M

3. Bathing Suits & Sunnies

Bathing suits for littles are probably the cutest thing on the planet & I really think you can never have enough Our faves are from Old Navy, Carters, Target & Walmart

So cute but Camila only leaves them on for about 30 seconds (but I'll keep trying hehe)

4. Float

This float is literally a life saver & so worth the $29.99 at BuyBuyBaby

5. Fan

We love to take this everywhere when it's hot & it is so convenient  because it clips on to anything and the fins are made of soft foam. BuyBuyBaby

6. Water Spray

I love to carry around a little spray bottle of water just to help refresh & cool down when needed. I found these little bottles at the Dollar Store in a pack of 2.

7. Water/Milk/Refreshing Snacks

It's so important to keep babies well hydrated, especially when they're going to be sweating and in the sun. We usually pack lots of fruits (watermelon, grapes, strawberries, blueberries and bananas are her fave) as well as her puffs,  teething crackers & milk

loves her snacks <3

8. Towel

soft towel is a must Having her name embroidered on is a plus :)

9. Change of Clothes/Cover Up

We always pack a little bag with 2 changes of clothes (one for after the water & one just incase)  and a cover-up is perfect for when she just gets out of the water.

10. Water Diapers

definite must

&  of course I like to have a really cute tote to carry it all in <3

This one was actually just $3 in the Dollar Section at Target

So we're back @ home in NY & thank God for warmer weather (but nothing compares to good old sunny So'Fla) We're already missing the pool & beach, but we're loving sitting on the back porch for breakfast and afternoon snack and watching all the birdies in our cute new little bird feeder that Mila LOVES.We had such an amazing time in FL visiting friends & family and I just wanted to share some of those beautiful times with you all. It's crazy how much more fun a place can be when you go back only to vacation & relax. We definitely needed that trip & I am so thankful to God, hubby & all those that made our trip possible for the unforgettable experience.
