39 Weeks- Anytime now!

Hello Darlings,

I can't believe it is almost time to meet our princess. These last few weeks seem never ending!!! I am trying to listen to everyones advice and sleep now, rest as much as possible and just enjoy this alone time with hubby, but it is so hard because we are SO0O0O0O out of our minds excited to meet Camila. We have been walking non-stop, drinking ginger & raspberry leaf tea, doing acupressure massages with clary sage essential oil and lots of squats. God willing all of this will help with a beautiful, smooth labor and delivery. This last week before our baby girl arrives we want to focus on eating our last cravings (Chimi, Steve's Pizza and hot dogs), hitting up the mall, beach, and of course talking about her and all the things we want to teach her, do with her and give her all the time. Now it's time for Camila's update, hopefully this is our last one with her still inside mommy's belly...

Camila's Update:

How far along: 39 weeks

Gender: Baby GIRL!

Maternity clothes: Maxi dresses, leggings and daddy's shirts and shorts

Stretch marks: After 38 weeks my belly couldn't stretch any more and I have some little ones above my belly button. Still applying all of my oils and lotions and praying for no more to come!

Belly button in or out: POPPED!

Sleep: Sleeping much better thanks to hubby being here but still lots of heartburn!

Best moment this week: Hubby being here and feeling Camila make such big movements and react to our voices.

Worst moment this week: Heartburn & really strong, almost painful Braxton Hicks contractions, and peeing all the time

Miss anything: sleeping on my belly, being lighter and moving freely

Movement: SO MUCH & love poking her and she pokes back.

Cravings: pizza, doughnuts, and steak

Queasy or sick: Heartburn! I wonder if that means lots of hair :)

Looking forward to: Our appt. tomorrow morning and hearing her heart beat, and FINALLY MEETING OUR PRINCESS CAMILA CRUZ!!!

By the way this is my life, can't do anything easily. Thank God mommy has been my angel and is always helping me and now hubby is here and being AMAZING!

Last week of work, FINALLY!

It is so incredibly surreal that this pregnancy is almost over and I'll finally be meeting this little human being that has been growing inside of me for almost 40 weeks! Pregnancy has been the most experience of my life and I thank God so much for such a beautiful gift of being able to enjoy it and have such a healthy experience with it. I feel so close and attached to Camila because she has been with me through so much already. She already is my little ray of sunshine, my butterfly and the best part of my life. She is my little partner and I can't wait to continue on this journey of life with her. Feeling her every movement, looking forward to hearing her heartbeat every week, always thinking about everything I can do to keep her healthy and strong and provide for her future, and preparing for her arrival into this world has been such an amazing and indescribable experience. This year has already been the most wonderful year of my life, marrying my best friend, carrying our precious baby in my belly and I can't wait for all that is to come once she is finally here.
