| 8 MONTHS OLD! |
Once again, it's that time of the month...Camila is another month older! Thank you Lord for the blessing of having a healthy, beautiful and growing baby girl. Every month I say "I can't believe she's already ___ months!", but it's so true! Time flies when you're having fun and we've been having the best time watching this little munchkin grow and blossom. I can't stress enough how blessed I am to be able to stay home with my princess and I love that I am pretty much always the first person to experience all of her new development.
So here's what's new with our little 8 month old:
Sleep: Sleep has gotten much better since last post, Camila is still teething so that makes her a little fussy but when girlfriend is sleepy, no one can mess with that. Bedtime once again is fluctuating, seems to be getting later and later, but I'm okay with that since I'm usually up late anyway and hubby leaves for work late so we get more time together and we get to sleep in a little later ;) Still 2 naps a day, one 3 hour nap in the morning and about 2 hour nap in the late afternoon.
Feeding: Camila is still strictly drinking HIPP Formula, we love it so much. She is still eating the same fruits and veggies and we've added some oatmeal cereal, mashed potatoes and egg yolk into the mix. Planning on adding some brown rice, broccoli, cauliflower and chicken very soon. She hasn't been so crazy about drinking her milk or eating lately and I attribute it mostly to teething. Teething sucks and it's one of those things no one really tells you about before you're baby is here and there's not much you can do to prepare, so to all you teething mama's I feel your pain and my heart goes out to you.
So as you can see we've been having lots of fun around here trying to keep warm, practicing crawling, eating new foods, napping, trying to chew on everything, & smiling.
Dear Camila,
I am so incredibly in love with you it's crazy. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am having so much fun being your mommy & seeing you grow each and every day. You love when I clap and say "YAYYY", when we play "peek-a-boo", when we play with Delilah, reading books and pointing to the words (just like I do), and practicing taking little steps. You are so funny, loving, strong willed and smart my princess. I love you with all my heart and look forward to every day with you and seeing you blossom into the beautiful little person that you are. May God continue to bless you and protect you ALWAYS.

Clothes Size: 6-9 months fits perfectly, this is a tricky stage because her legs are long so she needs 9 month pants, but she can still fit in some 6 months onesies, 6-9 is perfect though!
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: dark, dark brown
Milestones: SOOOO much talking! "Dada", "Que", "Baba" are some of her faves. Lots of backwards scooting and spinning trying to crawl, taking steps while holding mommy and daddy's hands
Firsts: First time eating eggs, first Valentines, first Dominican Independence Day, first time on a swing, first Super Bowl, first FLU shot, first time sitting like a big girl in a shopping cart
Favorite Toy: Walker, Puzzles and baby doll
