Fast, Simple, Fun & Yum- My Top 5 Go To Recipes

Hi loves,

So as some of you might know I've committed to making a positive lifestyle change and have been eating a lot cleaner and healthier and have been adding workouts into my everyday routine. I feel amazing and I attribute it all to doing the 21 day fix and drinking Shakeology. January 19th is when I began my journey with a 3 day detox cleanse, which led me into my 21 day fix (Please ask me if you have any questions about the program, I'd be so happy to answer them and tell you more about why I love it.) Welp, lets just say I loved the results, not only physically but also emotionally and mentally. I am now on my round 2 and I honestly don't plan on stopping because it is not a "diet". I literally get to eat everything I like just in moderation and of course a healthier version which is helping me achieve my goals and dreams of being a fit, healthy, hot mama & wifey (can I get an amen?!) Now, I am no where near my ultimate goals yet, but I am so inspired by the results I've already seen that I am so excited to get there.

Now as we've all heard fitness is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise that is why it is crucial for me as a new mommy, living in a new place, with my new husband (even though we've been together for almost 7 years lol) to be able to make fast, yummy, easy meals and snacks that take little to no prep. Here are my top 5 so far...

1.

BREAKFAST
*peep Minnie Mouse in the background of course*
  • 1 egg & 1 slice of turkey bacon
(scrambled with coconut oil & seasoned with Himalayan salt)
  • 1 apple (peeled because I hate the skin lol)
  • 1 slice of whole wheat toast
(I usually love to spread some avocado on there for excitement lol)

2.
SNACK
  • Half an avocado sprinkled with Himalayan salt
  • Sauteed spinach sprinkled with lemon juice and Himalayan salt
  • 1 Shakeology Shake (so yummy)

3.
LUNCH
  • chicken tenders seasoned with Himalayan salt, Black Pepper, garlic & parika
(I cut them into cubes once cooked)
  • Mixed veggies (I get the bags of fresh organic veggies at Trader Joes)
seasoned with Himalayan Salt and Olive Oil
  • Bake @ 375 for 30 minutes
4.
SNACK
  • 2 Roma Tomatoes sliced into pieces covered with
Hummus, Turkey, Arugula and a dash of Balsamic Vinegar
5.

CHOCOLATE VEGAN SHAKEOLOGY

SO YUMMY
* Sidenote * If you are new to cooking or just have any questions about my recipes at all please feel free to ask me anything! All of my ingredients are organic and mostly from Trader Joes or Whole Foods (when you're buying so many fruits and veggies it's really not that much more expensive to shop there.) Also, I've been drinking LOTS of water & tea between meals!

Those are my go to recipes for now & although they look and sound super healthy they are hubby taste approved! I hope some of my recipes inspire you & please send some yummy, healthy recipes my way as well. I will be doing a progress post soon to show you guys how I'm doing. I love that I can share all of this through my blog, it helps me feel accountable for sticking to my plan and I feel so connected with all of you. Thank you!
Me & my cuteness today after my 30 minute work out!
(It's only 30 minutes, but is is INTENSE trust me)

Happy Tuesday!
Sending lots of love & light
xoxo
