| "I'm 7 months & I can sit up all by myself!" |
Hello Loves,
I can't believe it's that time again! Princess is 7 months old! Time is flying by and she is definitely not a little baby anymore. Camila loves to read books & even turns the pages herself now, she is such a wiggle worm and does not like to be still, which makes changing her oh so fun, she loves to dance and tries to copy me when I dance, she thinks its hilarious when I talk to her in a "deep" voice or stare at her with a serious face, she has quite the voice and starts singing when she hears music & is at the perfect age to start working on arts & crafts (of course very simple, and mostly hand over hand), currently we are working on Valentine's projects including some heart cut outs of her little scribbles, so adorable & fun!
Now here's what's new with missy:
Sleep: Sleep has been a little disrupted this month, I attribute it mostly to teething. She has been still taking her 2 naps a day about 2-3 hours each, but has been waking up 1 or 2x throughout the night. It seems to be getting better lately (3 nights in a row no waking up), so fingers crossed!
Feeding: Camila is now strictly drinking HIPP formula we order it online in bulk and we love it, I totally recommend it for those breast feeding mommas who need to start supplementing. This formula comes from Germany (Europe has stricter regulations on what is allowed in baby formula which makes us feel better about what she's drinking.) She drinks milk every 3 hours about 4-6 oz per feed ( while teething she drinks less). We are still working on introducing solids, she knows what she likes and is pretty adamant about keeping her mouth sealed shut when there is a flavor she doesn't like so much. So far favorites are apples, pears, bananas, green beans and avocado. I've tricked her into carrots, sweet potato, butternut squash and spinach when mixing it in with one of the foods she loves. I am trying not to force food on her too much since I know "food before one is just for fun", even though all of our dominican family is insisting I introduce rice, chicken and beans haha.

Clothes Size: 6 months still fits perfectly. Some 6-9 works too.

Eye Color: dark, dark brown
Milestones: lots of singing, "talking" and communicating going on. Says "dada", "ma", "gaga", "baba" and lots of other new sounds. Still doesn't roll over from back to belly, only belly to back, but is already trying to start the backwards crawl by pushing herself and rocking back and forth, loves to look in the mirror, loves to jump, and LOVES to walk around everywhere in her walker.
Firsts: first time in her walker, eating lots of new food, saying "dada", visiting New Jersey, seeing the snow
Favorite Toy: Walker (obsessed) & bath toys

Dear Camila,
I can't believe you're 7 months now, you are growing into such a cute, silly, smart and loving princess. I love spending all day with you. I still can't get over your smell, your touch, your little fingers, the way you smile & laugh. I love that you love being tickled, and played with and being read to. You are going to be such an amazing young lady and I am already so proud of you. I love when you are sleepy and you start rubbing your eyes, and while you drink your milk you play with your little hairs, and when I lay you down in your crib you talk to yourself for like 5 minutes and then fall asleep. My favorite is when you wake up you start babbling non-stop & it's like you're calling me and telling me you're awake and ready to eat and play. When I walk into your room and turn on the light you always have THE BIGGEST smile on your face, never fails. You are truly my sunshine, my best friend and the best part of every day. I love you with all my heart.
