Our Easter & Spring Cleaning

Hi my loves,

It's been a crazy couple of weeks once again, I've been working on a few fun little projects & of course keeping busy with the Easter Holiday. I am in the process of revamping the blog & giving it a brand new face lift. I am so excited for the end result & can't wait to show you all. Spring cleaning is in full effect blog editing, home sanitizing, taxes, grad school prep, clothes purging, transitioning from winter to spring wardrobe, and just being my OCD self and trying to keep everything organized at all times (which is practically impossible with a very needy & playful 8 month old, jokes on me!)

So as for Camila's First Easter we definitely checked everything off our Easter Bucket List and enjoyed ourselves so much while doing so, I know I've said it a million times before, but holidays are so much more fun with a baby!

Read lots of Easter books in our bunny PJ's
(Playing with the Easter eggs all month long has been such a hit too)

Did some bunny crafts
(I got this set of stickers @ Target & did "hand over hand" to help her stick them on)

Spring Photo Shoot
(sneak peek, will do a post with all the details soon)

Picnic @ the park

Ridin' around with my bunny ears

The night before Easter we baked a yummy cake

Camila slept in her princess bunny jammies with her bunny
(Jammies are from BabyGap)

Camila wanted to eat some cake
(Only let her lick a little icing :P)
Easter morning & my bunny loved her basket of goodies

Dressed in her Easter Best
Off to Church
(We finally found one we love, YAY!)

The rest of the day was pretty laid back, we watched movies, played with all the fun stuff from her basket & took some naps (while mommy & daddy enjoyed some mimosas).

Camila's First Easter- CHECK!

Now after all the fun & games it was time for some serious Spring Cleaning...

My top 3 must haves for Spring Cleaning:

1. Set the mood- good music (John Legend & Rihanna on Spotify are my go-to's right now) & a Bath & Body Works candle (currently burning "Pure White Cotton" & "New York Beautiful Day") can go a long way and make the tedious task a little less tedious

2.  Yummy Snacks & Hydration- my Shakeology is the best sweet treat (& it's packed with protein and full of fruits & veggies),  green tea is my coffee, and of course lots of H20! For snacks I've been loving popcorn & guacamole which quinoa chips lately!

3. Get organized- have all your materials ready & easy to reach. I like to set up my cleaning supplies in a caddy container & I have boxes labeled with what clothes go where (keep, donate, winter, etc).

*& if cleaning/organizing happens to take place after 5pm a glass of wine is also accpetable/doesn't hurt ;)

Hope this post inspired some festivity, Spring Cleaning, or at least a glass of wine or if you're feeling healthy some yummy Shakeology!

Happy Wednesday, only 2 more days till the weekend!

xoxo
