Camila is 5 Months Old !

I'm so happy to be 5 Months Already !

Hello loves,

I can't believe my little delicious is 5 months old and already has her first tooth growing in! It still feels like just yesterday she was rolling around in my belly. She is my little ray of sunshine & is such a happy, loving, curious baby girl and I'm loving every second of being her mommy (even the scary, exhausting, horrible ones.)

CAMILA STATS:

Sleep: such a good sleeper thank God! Her bedtime has moved around quite a few times, still trying to work on that but she sleeps just about 8 hours every night, sometimes 9. Aside from her being sick for a week ( sleep was all off & horrible) she takes 3 two hour naps throughout the day & off to bed between 10-12. Still sleeping in her own room, in her crib, in her amazing Doc A Tot of course.

Feeding: Still exclusively pumping! I still try with the latching and she did twice, but prefers a bottle so much more so we're just going to go with it. We tried to start with rice cereal & breast milk in a spoon to practice a new texture and spoon feeding, but the she got sick so we put it on pause. I must say she loved the cereal & I can tell she is just about ready for some real food. She stares at us while we eat and starts opening her mouth and mommy is trying to hold off as long as possible, but I think it's about that time.

Weight: She is now about 14.6 lbs.

Length: (They still haven't checked. I will make sure at our Dec 8th appt they check)

Diaper size: size 2

Clothes size: 6 months! 3-6 fits snug

Hair color: brown

Eye color: black

Milestones: loves to be tickled, starting to like tummy time, sits up with some help, tries to feed herself with a spoon, trying to roll over, puts everything in her mouth, starting to form consonants & sometimes I swear she cries "mama".

Firsts: first real illness, first time eating with a spoon, playing in her jumperoo, Thanksgiving, trip to Central Park, sitting in Bumbo, my first tooth is popping through!

Favorite Toy: jumperoo, teething toys and bear ring

Dear Princesita,

I can't believe it! You are 5 months old and perfect in every way to me. You love looking at star or sun shaped things. You love being tickled & being silly. You know exactly what to do to get me to carry you or pick you up. Music is your favorite. I believe you're either going to be an actress or a singer. Most importantly I know no matter what you are going to be the sweetest, smartest, most loving little girl. I'm so in love with you and I am so thankful to God, daddy and our families that I am able to stay home with you and witness every second of your development. I love you with all my heart & soul princess girl.
