24 Weeks, Project Nursery & So Little Time!

Hello Dolls,
24 Weeks <3
Camila is our tiny dancer

We've been super busy around these parts! With an intimate wedding ceremony, nursery planning & baby shower under way, this mommy to be has her hands full already. I can only imagine how life is going to change when adding a little baby girl to keep us even busier. Although it's been hectic, I am loving every little bit (well almost every bit) of being pregnant. It is so amazing to feel my daughter kick, roll, & react to little things she hears, feels & tastes. Having her so close to me all the time is the most amazing feeling & I'm already sure I am going to miss my bump so much. At the same time, I can't wait to have my baby girl in my arms though, it is such a crazy and unexplainable thought. Thank God for having my mommy in town who spoils us so much. She keeps us eating healthy & active all the time. If it wasn't for her, I'd be probably rolled up in bed eating pizza every day. Now that we are in the last stretch of the second trimester I am enjoying every bit of this "honeymoon" stage as everyone calls it. I'm looking forward to, although a little bit scared of the third trimester and all of its lovely glory (growing belly, exhaustion, pains, etc.)

Weekly Baby Girl Update:
Mommy & Camila

Camila Carolina on 3D
Starting to stick her tongue out :P

How far along: 24 weeks

Gender: Baby GIRL!

Maternity clothes: Maxi's & yoga pants

Stretch marks: No

Belly button in or out: In (Hallelujah) but stretching :)

Sleep:Pretty good until around 5am, mind starts racing & can't fall back asleep. Also heartburn doesn't help, so I've been propping my head up on 2 pillows to ease the reflux.

Best moment this week:  Seeing Camila's beautiful face at our ultrasound <3

Worst moment this week: A mixture of exhaustion from work, stress from so much planning & missing my boo.

Miss anything: Going to lime and having margaritas with my girls <3

Movement:  So much movement. Feeling her kick & squirm is the best part of my day!

Cravings: Pasta, Chimi, hotdogs

Queasy or sick: Not sick, just heartburn creeps up at night.

Looking forward to: Doing our baby registry & starting to organize her little clothes in her new dresser <3

Wedding <3

Jestyn & I are planning to have a big celebration of love next year with all of our families and friends, but we wanted to do something small and intimate with just our immediate families before Camila is born. We are planning to have our little ceremony in my brothers backyard patio by the pool. Although it is a small ceremony, it is still our wedding so we feel its important that it is beautiful and special none the less. There is still so much to do & so little time, but that seems to be the motto around here lately. Thank God for the help of my mommy & her best friends. Here are some of our ideas and inspiration for our little celebration...
Loving the pearls and silvers <3

Ideas for our flower girl- Delilah of course <3

Love carrying all of my planning supplies & goodies

Baby Shower <3

Planning a baby shower for a baby girl is probably one my biggest dreams come true, but I know I'm not really supposed to be involved so I am trying to stay out of it as much as possible, but it is really hard. I am loving the "Shabby Chic" theme and all things pink, pearl, lace, and burlap.
I already got my dress from the cutest little preggo shop on ETSY. I'll share the details when I post pics in my dress. Here is some of our baby shower inspiration...

Project Nursery:

While mommy is busy organizing Camila's things in FL, daddy is in charge of a nursery in NY! This will definitely be a challenge, but a very exciting one at that. I am loving soft pinks, grays and white for her nursery in NY. As far as our room here in FL we already have her changing table, dresser, and bassinet. I'm still working on some finishing touches. I will do a post as soon as things are all set up for my princess. As far as her bassinet we chose the Halo Bassinest Premiere, we've heard a lot of great reviews and love that it can be lowered to have her almost on the bed with us without being dangerous. Pinterest is my best friend when it comes to decorating & planning. Here is some of our nursery inspiration...
precious

Touches of pink <3

Camila's Godfathers (my brothers) were sweet enough to get
her bassinet for us. Love you Tio's <3

Our week by the Camera Roll :

Leslie's Baby Shower <3

YUM, los tres golpes y un cafecito con leche <3

So many exciting things going on, so little time to get everything done. The most important thing I try to keep in mind in all of this is how blessed we are and how all that matters is the love we give. I am overwhelmed with love & support and I pray that I can give love to everyone I encounter on a daily basis because that is the one thing in this world that is priceless. Off to organize some of Camila's things in her new changing table & dresser!

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend. Happy Saturday & St. Patty's weekend! Wish I could have some green beer!

Lots of love & light,

xoxo
Arianna
