Easter has come & gone, but the best thing about Easter is that it's all about the gift that keeps on giving. We are so blessed because God gave his one and only son, so that we may have eternal life. That is the best news I've ever heard. To top off this amazing time it was BEAUTIFUL all week long here in NY and we certainly made the most of it! Hubby was off from work for Spring Break and Camila & I got spoiled by having him home and taking us out everyday. We squeezed in a trip to Central Park, the Botanical Garden, the Zoo & of course we spent ALL of Easter day outside enjoying the 85 degree weather. We are definitely making the MOST of our last months here in NYC.

Painting Eggs

After painting eggs, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, swinging, Easter Egg Hunt, planting a sunflower and dancing it was time for Mila to take a nap while the adults enjoyed some bbq and beverages. It was an AMAZING Easter & it is always thanks to our Heavenly Father. Thank you Jesus for this life of mine & I pray that each and every one of you had a blessed Easter & even more blessed rest of the year.

I can't believe Easter is already here! I feel like this year is FLYING BY & I have to find a way to slow it down. My favorite way of savoring the little moments is by making them feel extra special in simple little ways. I have a few fun & easy activities planned for this week along with some goodies I've gathered for Camila's Easter Basket I would love to share with you all.

Camila's Easter Basket Goodies New bows (Little Poppy Co.), Play-Doh (TJ Maxx), an Easter book (Barnes & Nobles), a slap bracelet (H&M), an egg with a ring inside (H&M), our favorite Honest hair detangler (Buy Buy Baby),  a Sunflower Grow Kit (CVS) & of course candy (CVS).

Easter Week Checklist:

1. Pictures with the Easter Bunny (already checked that one off yesterday)


2. Egg Hunt (love the balloon tied to the eggs idea from Pinterest, see pic below)

3. Bunny Face Painting & Bunny Coloring (free printables here)

4. Egg-stravagant Breakfast & Snacks (unlimited amount of fun can be had with these)

5. Read lots of Easter books (our fave)

& of course on Easter Sunday Camila will open her Easter basket and we will go to church in our Easter Sunday best.

Can't wait to get started on these & enjoy the week ahead because hubby's off from work for Spring break, the temp is going to be in the 70's and we're going to take FULL advantage of both, yay!

Our Next Big Move

We are beginning the moving process once again! We are trusting in God with a new transition for our family back to the SUNSHINE STATE! This makes me feel so many emotions all at once, but I know God is in control and everything in His hands. I am happy because we will be back in my old stomping grounds where I know where everything is, how to drive around, we'll be close to my brothers, cousins and all of my best friends and of course we can't wait to enjoy the warm weather and weekends at the pool, beach, grilling out and tanning. Don't get me wrong I'm also pretty sad because we will be leaving our loving family here in New York. It has been so nice living with family  and always having loved ones around (we live in the basement apartment of my mother in laws house). My mother in law is such an amazing woman who loves us and helps us so much and my sister in law (Camila's Godmother) is like my best friend who just happens to be my husbands sister and lives in the same house as me. I'm gonna miss them soooooo much, but they will be visiting all the time so it will all be okay. I'm also going to miss being home with Camila all the time because I will officially be starting my clinicals for grad school and working part time. So the next month will consist of packing, apartment hunting, looking into daycares and soaking up the last month and a half of staying home with my princess 24/7. This time in New York has been such a blessing for our family. Lots of sacrifices were made so that I could stay home with Mila, but it was ALL SO WORTH IT. We are excited for what's ahead & would appreciate any advice & lots of prayers please!
