Hello Dolls,
I am ecstatic to announce that our little blessing is a baby girl!!! The overwhelming feeling of joy that came over me when I found out is indescribable. All I could do was scream, laugh and cry uncontrollably. My best friend was with me when I got the call (we got a blood test that tells the sex of the baby) and daddy was in NY so we FaceTimed him immediately. He had a feeling it was a little girl all along. I, on the other hand, could have sworn it was a boy so I was in shock for about a week, actually still am in shock now (yup, I can't believe it lol). For all of those who know me, and those that don't, having a little girl has been my dream my whole life. I cannot wait for all of the special moments, outfits, bonding & girly fun with my little princess. Her name is Camila Carolina Cruz & we are so thankful and blessed for this little life growing inside of me.

How far along: 18 weeks
Gender: Baby GIRL!
Maternity clothes: I live in maxi dresses & leggings!
Stretch marks: No
Belly button in or out: Still in, starting to stretch out though !
Sleep: Slept so good while Jestyn was here, but I hate sleeping alone so it's been a little rough. Still getting up to pee between 3-4x a night
Best moment this week: Sharing the news of Camila Carolina Cruz with all of our friends and loved ones & having daddy here for a few days <3
Worst moment this week: Exhaustion from working 10 hour days and saying bye to Jestyn :(
Miss anything: Really missing sleeping any other way but on my side and my smart, organized brain. (Pregnancy brain is real people!)
Movement: Still feeling twists and turns and little baby nudges.
Cravings: This week it has been all about the sweets: chocolate, churros, carrot cake & red velvet cheesecake- ALL with a tall glass of milk of course!
Queasy or sick: Feeling good this week, a little bit of heartburn when I have to eat too fast on my lunch break.
Looking forward to: My mommy coming this week & meeting our new OB/GYN on Monday- hopefully going to see baby girl on the ultrasound & hear her heart beat (most amazing sound in the world).
GENDER REVEAL !
Our gender reveal was a complete success. Our family & friends were so supportive and excited. Team PINK vs Team BLUE were almost even, but Team PINK had a few more players & in the end were the lucky WINNERS! It was a night full of music, drinks, food, sweets, lots of guessing and baby even more baby talk. The whole evening made my heart so full of joy & happiness. My fiance, best friends and cousins helped me put everything together and it turned out so special. Here are some pictures of the fun times...
My amazing co-workers also put together a little gender reveal at work! So thoughtful & cute. Everything was so special <3

| Quality time with daddy while he was in town :) Research shows that by now baby girl can hear our voices and will recognize & remember our voices and certain tunes and stories she has heard repeatedly. Even if that is not true, it is still so precious and we love reading & talking to her. |

Now that I am going to be a mommy, it's really hitting me that all of my decisions don't only affect me but also my daughter. I found this quote that really hit home for me & I pray to incorporate it into my life forever and put it into practice every single day.
